Ethics is a new subject for many aspirants. In order to clear up your confusion regarding the preparation strategy, we compiled this article. If you ask any UPSC exam aspirant or any faculty of an institute they will tell you to read Lexicon.

We suggest you go through previous papers of UPSC. As this is the first time, APPSC may take UPSC GS paper 4 as reference and frame questions in a similar manner.

We recommend you to compile a list of terms related to Ethics. Below you can find a few terms

Read the meaning of each term and make notes with your explanation of the term and also have some examples to explain it better.

For example: According to you, what is Success?

                      Whom you consider as successful?

                      What a failure teaches?

                      How to deal with failure?

Explain the factors that are needed to get success.

If you write quoting your own experiences as examples or experience of any eminent person will make your answer good and fetch you more marks.

The questions asked in ethics tests not your theoretical understanding but your expression of thoughts and insights. So, it is more about articulation. You can improve this by writing on the paper regularly.
