books of History, Geography (6th to 12th). Once done with
NCERT, supplement your preparation with other standard reference books like

India’s struggle for Independence
b. Goh cheng Leong’s
Certificate of physical and Human Geography
c. Bipan Chandra’s
History of modern India
d. Atlas (for map
based questions)
Step 2: Cover all the
chapters in Indian polity by M.Laxmikanth
Step 3: Cover 11th
and 12th Standard NCERT books of Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Step 4: From web note
down key points related to defence deals, hierarchy of officers in forces,
DRDO, missiles, submarines, nuclear weapons, defence exercises, headquarters of
defence organisations, aircrafts, chiefs of forces etc
Step 5: Cover NCERT 11th
and 12th Micro and Macroeconomy books. Supplement it with Economic
survey and Union Budget
Step 6: Cover all the
policies and schemes mentioned in the India Reference Annual published by
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
Step 7: Cover current
affairs from January 2018 to August 2019. Follow any good online portal for
current affairs. Categorize current affairs into awards, sports & games,
national issues, international issues, persons in news, places in news, latest
science & tech news etc.
Step 8: Try to do
minimum 3 full syllabus based mock tests in the last week before the
examination.
