There are about 20 questions on an average from this part of the syllabus every year.
This means 1/5th of the question paper includes questions from environmental ecology, biodiversity and climate change.
This part of the syllabus is considered tough and also neglected by many aspirants. Our request is not to neglect this part as we already mentioned above the importance of this part.
Most of the questions asked are of general standard and can be easily answered if you are well prepared with the fundamentals.

1. Unit IX of XII standard NCERT Biology
2. Unit named BIOGEOGRAPHY from physical geography by Savindra singh.
3. Chapter on Environment from Indian Year Book 2017 published by Ministry of I&BC.
4. Summary of Environmental survey, forest survey, tiger survey, reports etc published by Ministry of Environment, forests and climate change.
5. Websites of key summits, conferences, conventions, institutuions, organizations, treaties etc related to environmental science.
Strategy:
a. Prepare environmental science for just 45 – 60 minutes daily for 35 to 40 days using the sources above mentioned.
b. Solve previous questions asked from 2011 – 2016.
