- MCA 21 , an e-governance project of ministry of corporate affairs (MoCA).
- The competition act, 2002 provides for setting up of the Competition
commission of india(CCI) comprising a chairperson and 2 to 6 members. In
addition it also provides for the establishment of a Competition appellate
tribunal to hear and dispose of appeals against the orders of the
commission.
- MoCA established the Investor education and protection fund.
- MoCA has set up National Foundation For Corporate Governance(NFCG)
to provide a platform to deliberate issues relating to good corporate governance, to facilitate exchange of experiences and ideas between corporate leaders, policy makers, regulators, law enforcing agencies and NGOs.

4. Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs
- Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has been set up by the GOI in the MoCA in 2003.
- Indian institute of corporate affairs(IICA) – Maneswar, Gurgaon.
- The MoCA is primarily concerned with administration of the Companies Act, 2013, the Limited liability partnership Act, 2008 and other allied acts and rules and regulations.
- The MoCA exercises supervision over the three professional bodies:
1. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
2. Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
3. Institute of Cost Accountants of India
- The Ministry has the responsibility of carrying out the functions of the central government relating to societies Registration Act, 1980, the Companies (Donations to National funds) Act, 1951 and the partnership Act, 1932.
