RBI Grade B Exam: Scheme of selection


RBI GRADE B EXAM

SCHEME OF SELECTION

Examination will be held in two phases and Interview.

Phase I online examination (objective type)
The paper consists of
a.   General Awareness – 80 questions – 80 marks
b.  English – 30 questions – 30 marks
c.   Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions – 30 marks
d.  Reasoning – 60 questions – 60 marks

Total number of questions – 200
Total marks - 200
Time – 120 minutes

The candidates who clear the phase I examination will be shortlisted for Phase II Exam

Phase II Online Examination:

It consists of three papers.
Paper I (objective) : Economic and social issues – 90 minutes – 100 marks
Paper 2 (Descriptive, to be typed with the help of the keyboard) : English – 90 minutes – 100 marks
Paper 3 (Objective): Finance and Management – 90 minutes – 100 marks

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase II.
